University Place Double Murder: 2 Suspects Now In Custody
Wilberth Acala, 22, and Adrian Valencia-Cuevas, 19, were found dead in a car on May 14.
UNIVERSITY PLACE, WA - Police have arrested a second suspect in the May 14 double-murder in University Place.
The suspect was arrested recently in Snohomish County, KING 5 reported on Tuesday. The other suspect was arrested in early June on a second-degree murder charge.
Wilberth Acala, 22, and Adrian Valencia-Cuevas, 19, were found dead in a Dodge Charger along the 6200 block of 63rd Street West. Both men were shot in the head. The shooting happened sometime before 5:30 a.m. on May 14. Surveillance images captured two suspects running from the scene of the crime.

A resident of the neighborhood noticed the two victims slumped over in the car and thought they were asleep. Police believe the killings might be related to a drug deal gone wrong.
