University Place Launches Its New Website
The last facelift to the city's website came in 2004.

Watch out, Google. There's a new website that could give you a run for your money.
OK, that might be a stretch, but University Place took a step to catch up with the rest of us here in the online world by launching its new website.
This is the first facelift to the city's website since 2004. UP hired a Tacoma consultant, Rusty George, to make the site brighter, bolder and more visually appealing.

Tonight, city spokeswoman Linda Seesz Β told the City Council that the new website is officially launched.
"We're excited to be in the new era," she said.

George told city leaders that the website will strengthen the city's marketability, particular as the .
Features include the city's new logo, pictures and a more navigable feel, the city says.
