VIDEO: Don't Want to Drive? This Guy Admired the Snow From The Trains

A local YouTube user spent all day Wednesday riding three rains in the South Sound and produced a nice slideshow.

They warn us to stay off snowy roads.

So one South Sound YouTube user decided to take in the gorgeous views of the white stuff from the train.

Six of them, to be exact. User railfunny posted this video of his snow-day train travels.

"January 18th 2012 was a snow day for me, so I spent the day riding trains and taking photos," the user wrote. "I started with the Sounder commuter rail from Auburn to Tacoma, Amtrak Cascades #501 to Olympia-Lacey, Amtrak Cascades #500 to Seattle, a ride in the Downtown Seattle Transit Tunnel (DSTT) aboard Central Link Light Rail, a round trip on the South Lake Union Street Car, and a trip home to Auburn on another Sounder train."

Obviously, these shots were taken before the headache-incuding ice storm hit. Still, I found this video almost therapeutic after a long day of ice storm coverage.
