VIEWFINDER: Joint Base Lewis-McChord's HHC Leaves For Afghanistan

The 120-member Headquarter & Headquarters Company,, 42nd Military Police Brigade, will take on the role as Task Force Protector and conduct detainee operations in Parwan, Afghanistan.

Patch's snapped these photos of today's deployment ceremony for the Headquarters & Headquarters Company, 42nd Military Police Brigade, at Watkins Parade Field at Joint Base Lewis-McChord.

The 120-member HHC will be deploying in late January in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. The company, part of the 42nd Military Police Brigade, will serve the role as Task Force Protector and conduct detainee operations in Parwan, Afghnistan.
 
This is the 42nd MP Brigade’s third overall deployment, and its second deployment conducting detainee operations. The unit previously deployed to Iraq in November 2004 and in February 2008.
