VIEWFINDER: Cirque Park `Goes To The Dogs' - But For A Good Cause
Saturday's "Pups in the Park" event in University Place drew top disc-catching dogs and their owners from eight states. It also attracted interested owners and their pooches.
Dog lovers and their "best friends" converged on Cirque Park for the the Fifth Annual “Pups in the Park” celebration in University Place Saturday.
This year's event featured the Skyhoundz Northwest Regional Championship. Canine winners of various disc-catching contests go on to international competition.
The SUNDogs nonprofit organization staged the free "Pups in the Park" event with sponsorship from University Place Veterinary Hospital. SUNDogs is raising money to create a permanent off-leash dog park at the Chambers Creek Properties.
