Watch: Armed Man Robs University Place Gas Station
Police are asking for the public's help identifying the suspect.

UNIVERSITY PLACE, WA - Police are asking for the public's help to identify a man who robbed a Shell station along Orchard Street on Jan. 2.

The man entered the Shell station around 9:30 p.m. on Jan. 2 waving a gun and demanding money from a clerk. The robber made off with money, and he also took cigarettes and lottery tickets. He fled the scene in the direction of Hannah Pierce Road West.

Police say the man is probably in his 20s with a medium build. Tacoma-Pierce Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
