Today's riddle: What do you call a belt that is made of watches? 🤔 (Answer below!)
• 4.2 magnitude earthquake jolts WA. What are the chances of an aftershock? (fox13seattle.com) — A 4.2‑magnitude earthquake struck just 3.7 miles west‑northwest of Wauna on Tuesday afternoon, and scientists say there's still a measurable chance of aftershocks in the coming days. Residents across western Washington, including near Wauna, reported mostly weak shaking, and USGS is urging anyone who felt it to file a quick online report to improve local seismic understanding.
• The Story of the KP Highway, Part II (keypennews.org) — Key Peninsula drivers get a rich look back at how the Gig Harbor–Longbranch Highway first connected Purdy, the Wauna sandspit, and the steep Wauna hill a century ago. The story traces early muddy wagon roads, state funding decisions, and the creation of the now-familiar Wauna Curves that helped open this part of Pierce County to growth and easier travel.
