• Orange Shirt Day in Toppenish remembers Indigenous boarding school students (yakimaherald.com) — Students and staff at White Swan High School joined Orange Shirt Day by wearing orange and walking together to honor Indigenous boarding school survivors and victims. Their participation was part of a broader Yakima Valley observance, including events at Heritage University in Toppenish, focused on remembrance, healing, and learning about the legacy of government- and church-run boarding schools.
