Update: One Road Cleared, One Still Closed in Bothell

Update: 3:12 p.m., Jan. 24, From Bothell city officials, "East Riverside Drive is now open. 108th Ave NE/112th Pl NE between East Riverside Drive and NE 164th Pl is still closed due to a fallen tree and power lines which occurred last week. Comcast crews are now on scene clearing wires and then City crews will be able to remove branches and debris. The process is expected to take several more hours and with high winds expected tonight, the road will remain closed through tomorrow morning for safety."

At this time, there are no outlets south of the Sammamish River once drivers cross the bridge from downtown Bothell at 102^nd Ave NE.  

"Drivers are advised to use alternate routes such as I-405 to access places such as the Cedar Park Christian School," said Joy Johnson, Bothell's public information officer.

East Riverside Drive at 109th Ave NE is closed due to an accident last night, she said. A vehicle hit a power pole, shearing it off, and leaving wires hanging across the road. Puget Sound Energy has repaired the electrical lines, and the road will reopen once Comcast and Frontier repair their lines.  However, it could be several more hours.

In addition 108th Ave NE/112th Pl NE between East Riverside Drive and NE 164th Place is still closed due to a fallen tree and power lines which occurred last week.
