'Beeping' Thief Arrested In Woodinville
Police found the thief with items from a number of local stores.

WOODINVILLE, WA - Just about everything went wrong for this thief.
Thursday morning, police got a report about a man who walked into a store and then fled with several bottles of booze. The store's surveillance camera got a good image of thief, and the description was sent to other officers in the area.
Minutes later, a King County deputy spotted the suspect. When the deputy went to arrest the shoplifter, he noticed a beeping sound - security tags attached to some of the stolen items were still going off. In addition to the alcohol, the suspect was found with clothes and shoes stolen from another store, according to Woodinville police.

The thief was booked, but he had to be taken to Harborview Medical Center after he told police he had swallowed heroin.
