Bellevue Bomb Squad Removes Device From UW Bothell
The Bellevue police bomb squad responded to UW Bothell Tuesday morning on a report of a suspicious package.

BOTHELL, WA - The Bellevue police bomb squad was called to the University of Washington Bothell campus Tuesday morning on a report of a suspicious package. The package was spotted inside a garbage can at a parking garage. The university first reported the investigation at around 9:15 a.m. Tuesday.
By 10 a.m., Bothell police reported that the Bellevue bomb squad had "made the suspicious device safe" and that campus activity would be returning to normal, including SR 522 access.
Bothell police later reported that the device turned out to be a "military training munition."
