Flight Scholarship Winner

Cadet Captain Nichole Carlson (Duvall) has been selected as the first recipient of the annual Northshore Squadron Flight Scholarship.

Taking lessons in a Cessna 172 at least once a week at Harvey Field, cadet Carlson is working toward her FAA Private Pilots license, and is also the cadet commander of the Northshore Squadron.  Upon graduation, she plans to attend the US Air Force Academy. 

The Northshore Flight Scholarship is a new program designed to help cadets earn their pilots license. It is sponsored by the Northshore Composite Squadron of the Civil Air Patrol.
