Is the Housing Market Dead? Are There Sales and Loans?

How's the market?  Is the real estate market dead?  Are homes selling? 

Based on the lastest home sales report from the National Association of Realtors ... on average 12,630 homes sell every day in this country. So that means 12,630 houses sold yesterday, about another 12,630 will sell today, and about another 12,630 will sell tomorrow.

Right here in Woodinville, just counting the homes sold by our real estate brand, we sell upward to one home a day. The market is back.

Are these all cash buys or can people still get a mortgage? Yes, you can still get a mortgage. 

Almost 9,000 people a day, in this country, receive a mortgage. Yes, we realize it’s more difficult. We acknowledge that things are a little bit tougher on every single borrower as far as filling out paperwork and making sure that everything is right.  But it's simply not true that no one is getting a mortgage.

Sales are happening and people are getting mortgages. The market is coming back.
