Tracy Westberg Named Star 101.5 Teacher of the Week

STAR 101.5 surprised Tracy Westberg’s sixth-grade class at Bear Creek Elementary School last week to tell the teacher that she was the STAR 101.5 Teacher of the Week. Westberg was nominated by fifth-grader Brody Milbrodt and his mom Tanya Milbrodt.

"Mrs. Westberg deserves to be Teacher of the Week because she embodies everything great about teaching,” wrote Brody and his mom in their nomination letter. “She truly loves and cares for the kids in her class and is extremely passionate about their learning experience. Mrs. Westberg brings fun and a little sarcasm into her class, which encourages the kids to work harder for her. My son has flourished in her class and I can't thank her enough for all she does!"

Star 101.5 afternoon hosts Kurt Cruz and Corine McKenize presented Tracy Westberg with a $100 check and her interview was broadcast on Star 101.5.
