Construction Alert: Repaving Project on 140th Ave to Run Through October
The City of Woodinville repaves select roads each year as part of its Capital Improvement Program.

Editor's Note: The following is a news release from the City of Woodinville.
The City ofΒ WoodinvilleΒ will be undertaking its annual pavement overlay project during the month of September on140thΒ Avenue NEΒ fromΒ NE 171stΒ StreetΒ toΒ NE 181stΒ Street.Β Most of the work will occur at night fromΒ 8 p.m. β 6 a.m.Β Some work will be conducted during the day.Β
While at least one lane in either direction will remain open to through traffic, motorists should expect some delays.Β The work is scheduled to conclude at the end of October.Β Weather may impact the timing of various tasks on the project.Β

The City repaves select City roads each year as part of its Capital Improvement Program. City staff evaluate every road for its pavement condition and determine which roads to overlay each year based on several deterioration factors.Β In 2013, the City will be repavingΒ 140thAvenue NEΒ andΒ NE Woodinville-Duvall RoadΒ fromΒ 140thΒ Avenue NEΒ toNE North Woodinville Way.Β In the past 7 years, the City has repaved nearly 30 lane miles of City streets.
