Spring is upon us and it’s time to start preparing your garden. We’re happy to present two local experts to help you grow beautiful and delicious plants this year. Join local award-winning dahlia grower Walt Jacenko (10:00 - 11:00am) and King County soil scientist Kate Kurtz (11:00am - 12:00pm) as we learn the secrets to growing stunning flowers and creating fertile soils. We’ll have tubers to give away, a free raffle, dahlia catalogs and plenty of information to set you on the path toward an improved garden. Afterwards, practice your skills and help us prep our own garden beds at Brightwater. Push up your sleeves, flex your muscles, and amend our garden with nutrient-rich compost. Snacks provided.
