Driver Wanted For Causing Motorcycle Crash On SR 522
The driver of a white pickup truck is wanted by Washington State Patrol after a road rage incident earlier in August.

WOODINVILLE, WA - Washington State Patrol is asking for help from the public to track down the driver of a pickup truck who caused a serious crash involving a motorcyclist. The accident happened during rush hour on Aug. 11 along SR 522 east of the I-405 interchange.
The driver of the white Ford pickup was headed eastbound along SR 522 with a motorcycle behind him. The pickup driver apparently "brake checked" the motorcyclist - a dangerous maneuver usually used to warn that a driver is following too close.
The pickup driver then moved his truck into the middle of two lanes of traffic to prevent the motorcyclist from passing, according to state patrol. When the motorcyclist tried to move to the right of the truck, the pickup driver moved too and slammed on his brakes. The motorcyclist swerved out of the way, but was thrown from the motorcycle in the process. The pickup driver then fled the scene.
