Edward Jones Ties for No. 2 on "Top Workplaces in Washington" Ranking

The financial services firm Edward Jones recently was named the No. 2 company headquartered outside of Washington on the Top Workplces in Washington ranking, according to Bert Mills, a financial advisor in Woodinville. Edward Jones tied for the No. 2 spot with Culter Investment Group.

Seattle Business magazine teamed up with research partner Fieldwork Webwork of Chicago, Ill., to rank the area's best employers. One hundred companies were named 100 Best Companies to Work For in Washington for 2013 divided into 20 large companies, 33 mid-size companies and 29 small-sized companies by the number of people they employ in the Seattle metropolitan area, as well as five non-profit companies and 13 companies headquartered outside of Washington.

Edward Jones has 195 branches in the Seattle metropolitan area. The firm is growing, adding branches and seeking new financial advisors who are interested in operating an entrepreneurial office with the support and benefits of one of the oldest and largest firms in the industry.

The ranking was based on employee opinions about company leadership, compensation and training, diversity / inclusion, career development, family-friendly flexibility, and values and ethics.

The Woodinville financial advisors include: Bert Mills, Chuck Cotterill and Tyson Farmer.
