An outdoor, hands on class. Participants will inspect 21 Acres hives to identify those that are suitable for honey production or queen rearing. Hives will be adjusted accordingly and preventative maintenance conducted to reduce the likelihood of swarming or disease. Instructor is 21 Acres beekeeper, Grant Carr. Carr is an active member of the Northwest Beekeeping Association (NWDBA) and "barefoot beekeeping" communities.
