Artist Open Studio Portrait Session

Open Studio painting/drawing sessions are available in Gallery 113 every Tuesday morning from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, with a live clothed model.  Each pose is held for a three hour session. This studio is open to artists of all ages and abilities.

Session Fees:  $10 for drop-in SVAC members ($12 non-members) $64 for eight consecutive sessions ($80 non-members)  

There is no fee for the general public to come in and view the artists at work, but please do not interrupt the artists until the model is on break.

Artist placement for viewing, is based upon a first come basis. Artists must provide their own easel.

Restrictions may apply regarding medium/method when painting and pastel drawing to protect the health of the other painters. When using pastel, use wet towel to catch the particles and limit blowing the painting. Oil painting medium must only use Gamsol and/or linseed oil as thinner and always close the top/cap on the container when not used.
