Stray Threads Quilt Guild Quilt Show

The Stray Threads Quilt Guild is holding its second quilt show titled  "Hollywood Encore"  to be held at the Hollywood Schoolhouse in the tourist district of Woodinville.  Located at 14810 NE 145th Street in Woodinville, Washington, the doors will open on April 14th, 2012 from 8:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. and then again on Sunday, April 15th, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.  The quilt show will showcase its members many quilting talents from large to small quilt sizes and styles.  Admission is $7.00.

The show will also include a small vendor mall and a boutique containing items made by Stray Threads members.  While the quilt show is not competitively judged, all guests are invited to vote for their favorites with small prizes going to the winners.   Benefits raised from the quilt show go to support the quilt guild, its goals, and its charitable activities.

Stray Threads Quilt Guild was founded in 2008 and has 176 members.  It  is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization  whose purpose and goals are to aid individuals in the study of quilting and fabric arts and to provide quilts and other sewn and handcrafted objects to charities.  Stray Threads provides quilts to several charities throughout the Puget Sound area, including Camp Korey in Carnation and American Heroes.   More information about the organization can be found at http://www.straythreads.org or by emailing info@straythreads.org.
