Do you ever wonder what’s in the water you drink? Are you concerned about your city or rural water sources? Are they good enough for your family? Do you know what to keep in mind when choosing tap, bottled or filtered water? What is the difference between water treatment technologies?
The class, “Water Choices: Good for You and Good for the Planet,” presented in the 21 Acres Sustainable Living series will answer these tough questions. Scheduled on Saturday May 4th, 10 a.m. to noon, instructors, Jim Fox, PhD and Pat Fox, both Certified Water Specialists and owners of Custom Pure, The Water Store, will help you learn all you need to know. To get truly personalized answers to your questions, you can send in a brief questionnaire in advance, upon completing your registration, and Pat and Jim will address your concerns in class and help you discover safer water choices and alternative options
21 Acres continues to reduce it’s exposure to unnecessary chemicals, through water conservation practices on the farm and filtration systems in the green building, and strives to share information and resources with the community to lessen the impact on our environment. Make sure your family has the best, safest drinking water possible, and register for this class. A $10 donation is requested to benefit Nature Conservancy. As a special offer, 21 Acres members, with advance registration, will receive a gallon glass jug to fill up with artesian well water from the 21 Acres Farm.
