Wild Holiday Gift & Decor

A Reskilling Class with Thelma McGowan                Transition Woodinville
$15 class fee

Thelma will demonstrate how you can create a holiday gift or centerpiece with items harvested from your own back yard. She will be featuring locally grown and harvested products from Washington State and discuss how easy and important it is to Buy Local even at the holidays! Each participant should bring a favorite holiday container or recycled item that is water tight and small enough to fit in a shoe box such as a tea cup, mason jar, tin can or cottage cheese container.

Thelma has been a floral designer for 12 years and has always been inspired by Nature. Her ultimate goal is to teach people about the often overlooked beauty around them and the delicious food oppurtunities that are literally popping up everywhere in the natural world. She enjoys sharing her skills and ideas with folks and hope they will pass them on
