  • Why Go: The Woodinville Community Band presents "Swords and Sorcery," an exciting concert featuring Johan de Meij's Symphony No 1, Lord of the Rings. Other pieces will continue the theme. This award winning work is sure to amaze and entertain audiences of all ages.

  • Why Go: Help Jon Sailer, a Boy Scout in Troop 573, earn his Eagle Scout ranking by attending this spaghetti feed fundraiser! For his project, Jon is building an “Outdoor Classroom Set” that consists of a table and four benches that can be used in a dining or classroom setting for 21 Acres. Along with spaghetti, there will be salad, brownies and other goodies. Drop by anytime between 5:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. for a delicious dinner benefitting a great cause!

  • Why Go: Start your Sunday with this unique worship experience as the Paradosi Ballet Company presents "Sealed," an audience sing-along to selected current and popular praise songs. After a brief intermission settle in for the main attraction. "A Walk with Paul" is an intense and inspiring 50-minute production based on the life and death of the Apostle Paul. See the Bible come alive with music from the motion picture “The Gladiator" in this gripping story of redemption. This Paradosi Ballet Company production includes a full cast of dancers, actors, props as well as multi-media.

Then, from 12-1 p.m. it’s all about bulbs, which varieties will grow best in pots, and how to keep them happy all season long, and much more.

  • Why Go: Come get a “behind the scenes” look at how the Seattle Men’s Chorus prepares a show for the main stage this Saturday. The Chorus will pay tribute to the original mop-top quartet in Come Together. Using the precise transcriptions of The Beatles’ recordings, the Men’s Chorus will recreate a collection of favorite Lennon and McCartney tunes in exactly the same style as the originals you have known and loved.

  • Why Go: The Theatre at Meydenbauer Center presents the sing-along sensation with “The Sound of Music,” one of the most successful movie musicals of all time. This classic movie will be shown on a big screen while audiences enjoy a fun, liberating night out. Audience participation with subtitles for all songs is strongly encouraged.
  • Cost: Tickets are $22 for adults, $18 for students and seniors, $62 for a family pass, $17 for groups of 10 or more.

  •  Why Go: More than 92 area high schools will bring students, teachers, Mentors, Sponsors and family members to participate in the FIRST® Robotics Competition. This high-tech sporting event will produce excitement and energy for participants and spectators alike, as teams compete for honors and recognition that reward design excellence, sportsmanship, teamwork, and more.

  • Why Go: The egg-stravaganza kicks off with crafts, games and photo opportunities with a furry, floppy-eared visitor this Sunday at 10 a.m. Don't forget to bring a basket because the egg hunting will begin at 10:30 a.m. You may even find one of the lucky eggs and win an egg-straordinary prize!

  • Why Go: This original, fun script takes an irreverent look at the classic fairy tales. Classic characters from different fairy tales find themselves all mixed up in this delightful story. This performance is sure to bring fun and happiness to the whole family.

  • Where/When: 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, March 23-24, at in Redmond.
  • Why Go: Join the Old Fire House this Friday and Saturday as the semi-finalists in the Classic Rockathon battle it out to make the final four spots in the competition. Friday’s bands include Derek White, The Hebephrenics, Catalyst and Ryot. Saturday’s lineup features Box, Hana Kirchoff and Scinite.
  • Cost: $8 ($7 with a canned food donation for Hopelink) for both days.
