Firefighter Fund Fire in the Grass Concert for Local Charities

Fire in the Grass is a battle of the bands concert at organized by area firefighters benevolent fund groups. Proceeds from the Aug. 28 event will go to Musclar Dystrophy Association, Ryan's Solution, firefighters benevolent funds in Woodinville, Bellevue, Redmond, Kirkland, Bothell, Eastside, and Mercer Island as well as the Bellevue Honor Guard.

The concert is from noon to 9 p.m., entry donation is $10. Redhook is donating the use of its Grassy Bowl and a percentage of all food and beverage sales at the concert will go to the charities, according to Liz Downs, one of the event coordinators.

The band lineup is:

12:30 p.m. - The Maltby Crew
2 p.m. - Three Trick Pony 
4 p.m. - Bald Mountain Blue Grass
5 p.m. - Eclectic Approach 
6 p.m. Bellevue Honor Guard and Eastside Fire Pipes and Drums
6:30 p.m. - Austin Jenckes 
8 p.m. - Velcro Mindset
