Free Savvy Gardener Class, "Rain Barrels and Drip Irrigation: A Perfect Pairing"

The next class in the Savvy Gardener Series being held at Woodinville Water District is "Rain Barrels and Drip Irrigation:  A Perfect Pairing".  This class will be taught by Carey Thornton from Seattle Tilth and Dan Borba, owner of Natural Rain Water.  Rainwater harvesting is the practice of collecting and storing rainwater for use in your yard.  Drip irrigation is an extremely efficient and effective way to water your plants.  This class will teach you how to utilize both technologies to help you save money and keep your landscape looking great!

The class will be held from 10:00 - 11:30 am on Saturday, June 8th at Woodinville Water District's public meeting room, located in Building A at 17238 NE Woodinville-Duvall Road, Woodinville.  Attendance is free, but pre-registration is necessary due to space limitations.  You can register at www.brownpapertickets.com or call Woodinville Water District's Public Information Office at 425-487-4102.  This class is one of dozens being offered in the Puget Sound Region that are sponsored by the Saving Water Partnership and Cascade Water Alliance.  You can see a listing of all the classes on the web at www.savingwater.org.  Click on the Savvy Gardener Logo.  If you do not have access to the internet and would like more information, please call Debbie Rannfeldt at Woodinville Water District at 425-487-4102.  You can also email publicinfo@woodinvillewater.com.
