Get Off My Tail! WA State Troopers Targeting Tailgaters
Washington State Patrol will step up enforcement this month of drivers who follow too close.

WOODINVILLE, WA - Is there anything more infuriating than looking in your rear-view mirror and seeing another driver practically attached to your bumper?
Not only is it infuriating, it's also extremely dangerous. Washington State Patrol this month will step up enforcement of laws against following too close. That type of bad driving behavior caused over 9,500 accidents last year, according to state patrol.
Between March 7 and 9, state troopers will be out looking to fine drivers for following too close - an offense that can cost between $136 and $187.
