Health Department In Wine Country: Woodinville, Redmond Tasting Rooms Visited Over Permit Issue
Citing an issue over reusable glasses, King County has restricted wine tastings at establishments in Woodinville and Redmond.

REDMOND, WA - King County Public Health visited multiple wine tasting rooms in Redmond and Woodinville Tuesday over an issue with reusable glasses. King County says that the wine tasting rooms were using washable glasses, which is not allowed without a food permit. The tasting rooms will still be allowed to serve bottled wine and beer, and can still hold tastings using disposable cups.
The county says it will allow reusable glasses to be used once proper permits are secured.
