Hot Air Balloon Makes Emergency Landing In Highway Median
The balloon landed Wednesday morning in the median along SR 9 near Snohomish.
SNOHOMISH, WA - A hot air balloon made an unplanned landing Wednesday morning in the median of SR 9 just north of Snohomish. Fire crews were on scene, but it appeared that all aboard made it to the ground safely. The balloon was deflated minutes after it landed.
The landing happened near the intersection of SR 9 and U.S. 2, according to WSDOT.
