Kumon of Woodinville-East to Host Literacy Open House
Open House on March 3 will promote reading and get books to underserved children.

Kumon Math and Reading Center of Woodinville-East, in partnership with Reading is Fundemental, will hold an open house on Saturday, March 3 from 9:00 am to noon to promote literacy among children and generate donations for needy kids.
The open house will feature read along sessions, games, raffles and refreshments.
Attendence is free, and children from 3 years old to high school age are encouraged to come.

The open house is just one of many that wil be taking place nationwide to help encourage kids to read. And as part of a month-long effort to promote literacy, Reading is Fundemental will donate four new books for every one new enrollment at Kumon North America.
"Children deserve the right to be provided with opportunities and to reach their potential," said Rubina Virani, Kumon of Woodinville-East center director.
