Large Power Outage Hits Woodinville, Redmond Area

More than 5,400 people were without power Tuesday morning, according to Puget Sound Energy.

WOODINVILLE, WA - About 5,400 people lost power Tuesday morning in the Woodinville-Redmond area. That number had been reduced to about 4,800 by 10:45 a.m., according to Puget Sound Energy, and all power was back on by about 1 p.m.

The outage was reported around 7:30 a.m., and some in Woodinville reported hearing an explosion just before the power went out.

The outage was spread across a wide area, from about Mink Road to downtown Woodinville and south to Northeast 145th Street.
