Line-up for Amateur Talent Show at Celebrate Woodinville Saturday

Organizers for the Celebrate Woodinville Amateur Talent Show, part of the Celebrate Woodinville day of events March 31, have announced popular local band Tonnull will headline Saturday’s exhibit. In addition to the Tonnull, Family Zumba and the Studio 1 Dance Team will entertain the crowds.

“Many thanks to for providing the space for the event, with activities and entertainment,” said Catherine Howard, organizer of Celebrate Woodinville.

This year The Y at the Carol Edwards Center will host the City’s 19^th Birthday Celebration with free birthday cake, children’s crafts and games, giveaways and community resource information. The annual caked cutting ceremony will be at 1 p.m.

The Children's Activity and Family Resource Fair will run from noon to 4 p.m. at the center, offering many free activities and giveaways including carnival games, a giant Lego’s table, face painting, a vegetable toss, Pilates Reformer demos, free popcorn, balloons, crowns to wear and more.

Local Community groups like Girl Scouts, 21 Acres, BECU, Woodinville Lions Club, Northshore Wranglers, Woodinville churches, Care Net, Home Court NW, the Storehouse, and more will be sharing information and ideas on how we can volunteer in the community, Howard said. Information on emergency services, low cost health resources, schools and daycares along with fun ways to stay healthy and more will be mixed in with games and fun. The Woodinville Heritage Society will have an extensive display of the History of Woodinville.
