Memorial Day: What's Open, What's Closed

Memorial Day is Monday, May 28; here is a list of what’s open and what government offices are closed.

City of Woodinville is closed.

The King County Library System, including the Woodinville and Kingsgate branches are closed.

Northshore School District is closed Monday and Tuesday, classes will resume May 30.

Lake Washington School District: Closed Monday.

King County government: Closed.

King County Metro: Reduced weekday schedule.

King County Transfer Stations: Open.

State of Washington: Closed.

Washington State Ferries: All routes will operate on a normal schedule.

Federal government (including the U.S. Postal Service): Closed

Banks: Many, if not most, will be closed.

Express delivery companies: FedEx and UPS will be open.

Waste Management: Regular recycling and garbage service in most Western Washington areas.
