Update: Local Woman Missing In Snohomish County Found
Denise Markel was last seen on Jan. 22. in Snohomish County.

WOODINVILLE, WA - The King County Sheriff's Office announced Thursday that Denise Markel, 55, was found safely in Lake Stevens.
The Kenmore woman was reported missing after disappearing on Jan. 22.

Denise Markel, 55, is from Kenmore, and police say she was last seen in the Lake Cassidy area north of Lake Stevens along State Route 9. Markel is described as 5'5", 105 pounds, with blue eyes, and was last wearing a sweater and pajama bottoms.
She was driving a green 2000 Mazda MPV with the license plate ASK8300. The car has a bumper sticker that says "hippie."
