Montessori high school senior named National Merit Finalist

Anisha Chutani, a senior at Woodinville Montessori High School, has been named a National Merit Scholarship Finalist. Anisha is the first Finalist from the new high school, which is located in Bothell. She received her Certificate of Merit at a special presentation to the high school and middle school on Feb. 16.

About 15,000 students nationwide have been named Finalists; from that group, half will be selected to receive National Merit Scholarships. Scholarship winners will be notified beginning in March.

Anisha has been a student at WMS since fourth grade. Woodinville Montessori's programs have grown over 35 years to serve students ranging from toddler through high school at the Bothell campus, and additional preschool and kindergarten students at the Woodinville campus. The high school’s first graduating class in June 2017 boasted two students who qualified as Commended Scholars based on their PSAT scores in the National Merit Scholarship rankings.
