Northshore School Board Approves New Teacher Contract
Also approved was next year's school calendar.
The Northshore School District Board of Directors unanimously approved a new two-year employment agreement with the teachers’ union.
At Tuesday night’s meeting, board member Janet Quinn said she appreciated the hard work done on the collective bargaining agreement with the Northshore Education Association, which had previously voted to approve the contract. (Click here to read that story.) The new agreement will expire after the 2012-2013 school year.
The board also approved the 2011-2012 school calendar, which has classes starting Aug. 31 and ending June 18, 2012.
