Passage of a Legend

A few years back, I had the privilege of writing with Lou Guzzo, Mark Gardner, and occasionally Dr. Matt Manweller on a blog called Wacky Nation.  Already in his late 80’s, Guzzo still had a mind like a steal trap and the ability to turn a phrase like few others.   We agreed on very little, though all four of us were conservatives of one sort or another.  But one thing he and I agreed upon was the need for passionate, outspoken citizenship. 

Today’s world is full of people willing to share their opinions with anyone who’ll listen.  But there’s a dearth of people who can pull together a compelling argument or sort through piles of information to find the grains of truth or clarity.  Lou Guzzo was one such person.
