Pedestrian Seriously Injured While Crossing I-5
A Woodinville man was found near southbound I-5 in Bellingham with head trauma and leg injuries.

BELLINGHAM, WA - A 23-year-old Woodinville man was struck by a vehicle and seriously injured Wednesday night, according to Washington State Patrol. Police said they received a report at 9:37 p.m. about a pedestrian walking in both lanes of travel on southbound I-5 near milepost 250. After a short search of the area, a trooper found a man in the brush just south of Samish Way.
The man had head trauma and leg injuries consistent with being struck by a vehicle. No information was available on how the crash happened or the causing driver.
The pedestrian was transported to Harborview Medical Center for treatment. The case is under investigation.
