Homeward Pet is kicking off the summer with its annual FREE MICROCHIP event to help parents keep their four-legged family members safe during the time of year when most pets go missing. The shelter is providing free microchipping for spayed or neutered pets every Tuesday in June from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Friday, June 24 from 4 to 7 p.m. and Saturday, June 25 from 9 a.m. to noon.
