Seattle artist Quincy Anderson’s large scale paintings are inspired by water environments. Using a unique combination of acrylic paint, oil ink and silk tissue collage on canvas she creates richly textured surfaces that appear and disappear as the viewer moves around the paintings. Her use of complex color harmonies and reflective light evoke images of the Pacific Northwest as well as her recent travels to Venice, Italy. Meet the artist at a reception of August 9th from 6-8pm.
