Video: A Very Cute Bear Sighting In Woodinville

"Is it a boy bear or a girl bear?" a young Woodinville boy wonders watching a bear roam through a local neighborhood.

WOODINVILLE, WA - Sometimes black bears are a nuisance, sometimes they're dangerous - but sometimes they provide an opportunity for learning.

Margi Avey and her son recently spotted a black bear roaming across lawns in the Sutton Place area of Woodinville. For a good two minutes, the boy gets to watch as the bear decides what to do about the humans watching him (he eventually decides to run off).

Black bears are exceedingly common in the Woodinville area - especially near homes that have bird feeders or full garbage cans out in the open.
