VIDEO: Woodinville Hair Studio Will Reward a Deserving Woman With a Free Makeover

Inspired by doind a makeover for her hard working mother, Kimmy Nguyen, owner of Illusion Hair Studio, decided to help other deserving women who work hard for others but spend little time on themselves. Kimmy decided to start a program to where the community nominates women in Woodinville for a complete makeover.

Four times a year, Kimmy will choose among the nominees and offer the winning woman free makeover at her salon. The public can nominate a friend or family member by calling the salon or sending a letter.

"If they know anybody in their lives they that know that have been through tough times, divorce, single moms or been through certain kind of abuse and thing like that those are the type of people I want to help," said Nguyen.

Nguyen has been a hair stylist for 10 years and opened Illusion Hair Salon in 2007.

Nguyen said she is excited about doing the makeovers and will start giving makeovers quartly.  The makeovers will include a haircut and hair color.
