Wanted Drug Felon Caught At Woodinville Target By Bellevue Police

WOODINVILLE, WA - Bellevue police arrested a wanted felon at the Woodinville Target on Friday afternoon, and the suspect allegedly smashed into a police vehicle trying to get away.

The Bellevue police narcotics unit, the special enforcement team, and bike officers were tracking the wanted felon because of a probation violation, Bellevue police spokesman Seth Tyler said. Tyler said the suspect was allegedly dealing drugs in Bellevue.

The police tracked him to the Target, where officers tried to confront him. When they did, Tyler said, the suspect allegedly drove into an unmarked police car on purpose, causing major damage. The suspect jumped out of his car and ran, Tyler said, but was caught shortly after.

No one was injured during the arrest. King County's Guardian One helicopter also came to the scene to assist the officers.
