Woodinville Boy, 10, Still Recovering After Suspected DUI Crash

The boy and his mother were injured in a crash on Saturday near Duvall.

DUVALL, WA - Washington State Patrol is seeking new information about a crash in Duvall on Saturday night that left a 10-year-old Woodinville boy with serious injuries. The crash happened around 8:30 p.m. Saturday north of downtown Duvall. The boy's mother was also seriously injured in the crash.

Police have placed Gerald King, 50, of Port Angeles, in custody on suspicion of DUI and vehicular assault. But police are looking for witnesses who might be able to provide new information about the crash.

According to Washington State Patrol, King was driving southbound along SR 203 when he allegedly crossed the center line and hit the SUV being driven by the Woodinville woman and her son. All three were taken to Haborview Medical Center in Seattle. Police say the 10-year-old is still recovering in the hospital.
