Woodinville Generously Filled the Boots of Firefighters for Muscular Dystrophy

In just five hours and at only one intersection in town, Woodinville Fire & Rescue firefighters raised $6,500 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association in the annual

Drivers gave generously to 12 off-duty firefighters on each corner of the intersection of NE 175^th and 140^th NE on Aug. 23

“It was pretty overwhelming the amount of support we received from the community,” said Dustin Wuebel, the Woodinville firefighters who organized this year’s event. “People where so generous in their support of helping children with MDA.”

Fill-The-Boot funds support MDA’s services locally and nationally, including medical clinics staffed with specialists in neuromuscular disease and special summer camps for kids. For more information visit the Muscular Dystrophy website at www.mda.org.
