Woodinville Police Identify Purse Theft Suspects

A Woodinville woman's purse was stolen last week, and her credit cards were used in by the thieves during a shopping spree in Lynnwood.

WOODINVILLE, WA - Woodinville police believe they have identified the man and woman wanted in a recent purse theft. Woodinville police worked with police in Snohomish County to track down the thieves, and it appears the couple are responsible for other crimes in the area.

On Sept. 20, a Woodinville woman's purse was stolen out of her car. The woman's credit cards were later used during a shopping spree at various stores in Lynnwood. Police were able to pull surveillance images of the thieves from store cameras.

Woodinville police reported that the woman in the surveillance video is facing two felonies related to the purse theft. The Snohomish County Sheriff's Office is investigating the couple, who live in Everett, in connection to other crimes in the area.
