Woodinville Walgreens Grand Opening Saturday

It’s been open for about a month but the grand opening celebration for the new Walgreens in Cottage Lake is this Saturday, March 17, starting at noon.

In addition to the traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony at 12 p.m., there will be free gifts to the first hundred customers (no word on what those might be).

A crew from (just down the street from the new store) hope to be on hand with a shiny red engine to show kids, according to David Weed, community relations officer. The Woodinville High School Cheer Squad will be there as will G & G Dogs will be there (they are one of Woodinville’s favorite food trucks).
