Zazu’s House Parrot Sanctuary Annual Fundraiser

is having its second annual dinner and silent auction fundraiser at the Hollywood Hill Schoolhouse on May 31, tickets are on sale now until May 21.

The Woodinville parrot shelter is a 501(c)3 charity refuge helping abused and neglected, distressed and displaced birds from the local communities. There is no paid staff; the shelter operates entirely by volunteers. Zazu’s House is run by Scott and Christy Hensrude who own Precision Collision Auto Body in Snohomish.

This second annual dinner event, wine tasting, raffle and silent auction will help to support these beautiful birds for the coming year. According to volunteer Mark Lovell, 100% of donations go to veterinary expenses, medical health care and maintenance, toys and food – e.g. fresh fruit, exotic bird seed, pellets and nuts. Tickets are selling fast and sales end on May 21, tickets will not be sold at the event. Tickets for the evening are $60.00/person, $100.00/couple, and $500.00/table (sits 10). Tickets can be purchased through the mail by sending a check to:
