• 38th year of the Parkersburg News and Sentinel's half marathon (wtap.com) — Runners packed downtown Parkersburg on Saturday for the 38th Parkersburg News and Sentinel Half Marathon, bringing athletes from across the Mid-Ohio Valley and beyond. Tobias Jones of Pennsylvania won the men's overall title, while St. Marys' Jenny Brewer claimed the women's division, crediting her familiarity with the hometown-style course and summer training.
