KENOSHA, WI — A five-hour standoff Wednesday in Kenosha ended with no arrest after the wanted man left the scene undetected, according to police.

Authorities received a tip Wednesday that a man wanted for armed robbery was at a home in the 5300 block of 19th Avenue, police said. Around noon, they posted on Twitter that there was a possibly armed and barricaded person in the house and asked neighbors to stay indoors.

Their target was Ricardo Garcia, a 34-year-old who showed a handgun and robbed a local grocery store about 4 p.m. Tuesday, according to police, who noted Garcia was believed to be armed and dangerous, and that he had multiple warrants out for his arrest.
